From Brad Paul: Gregory Isaacs, “Confirmed Reservation” Easily one of the top 5 tunes in my lifetime rotation, “Confirm Reservation” sees the Cool Ruler and the Roots Radics at the top of their game and in perfect combination. Gregory’s voice here is perfectly suited to the melancholy lyrics while the signature Radics sound of the early 1980s helps carry the tune down a smooth path of goodness. From the opening drum roll to the funky little guitar slide to the way Gregory says “I’m going over to cross River Jordan” to the “can’t take the vibe no more…I’m moving on” fade out this is pure magic. back to podcastbattle.com
